About Prestatyn Roofing

Who We Are

A small team of time-served roofers and builders who have spent years working on the roofs of Prestatyn: Victorian slate terraces, post-war tiled semis, flat-roofed extensions and everything in between. The person who quotes your job is the person who does it, and the same faces turn up from the first visit to the last.

We've built the business on repeat customers and recommendations across Prestatyn, LL19, which only happens when you do the work properly, tell people the truth about their roof and clear up afterwards.

Working Across Prestatyn

Many of our Prestatyn jobs are on bungalows and semis, where concrete tiles, felt flat roofs and fascias have reached the end of their life. We replace tiles, re-bed or dry-fix ridges, fit new verges and replace flat roofs with modern membranes. On Victorian and Edwardian homes near the centre, slate repairs, chimney rebuilding and lead work are the usual jobs.

We cover Meliden, Gronant, Talacre, Ffynnongroyw and Gwaenysgor, as well as Rhyl, Dyserth, Trelawnyd and Holywell. Hillside homes often need scaffold designed for sloping ground, and older stone cottages in Meliden and Gwaenysgor need natural slate and traditional mortar. Holiday homes and lets in Talacre and Gronant can be arranged around bookings. Bungalow loft conversions with box dormers are common here too, and their flat tops are a frequent source of leaks. Coastal exposure across Prestatyn means we use corrosion-resistant fixings as standard. Prestatyn customers get a clear explanation of what we find, supported by photos, and an honest view on what needs doing.

What We Do

Everything on and around the roof. Repairs and leak tracing, full roof replacements in slate and tile, flat roofs in EPDM and GRP, new roofs on extensions and conversions, chimney repairs and rebuilds, leadwork, roof windows, roofline and guttering, roof cleaning and coating, and the building work that goes with it: render, repointing, brickwork and extensions. See the full list on our services page.

Our Approach

Four things we do on every job in Prestatyn, however big or small.

Honest Assessments

We tell you what the roof actually needs. If a repair will solve it, that's what we quote. If it won't, we show you why and price the alternatives. We don't manufacture problems to sell work.

Clear Pricing

A written, itemised quote before any work starts. The price we quote is the price you pay unless we find something together and agree a change in writing.

Quality Materials

Breathable membranes, treated battens, stainless fixings, proper lead and coverings from established manufacturers with warranties to match. A roof is only as good as what goes into it.

Guaranteed Work

Our workmanship guarantee on every job, backed by the manufacturer's warranty on the materials, and a number to ring if anything ever needs a second look.

Why Choose a Local Roofer?

A local roofer in Prestatyn has a reputation to protect on every street, knows which materials cope with Denbighshire weather and which don't, can be with you quickly when it matters, and will still be here next year. We've seen the results of out-of-area firms and storm chasers on roofs across Prestatyn, LL19, and we spend a fair amount of time putting their work right. When you use a local company the accountability is built in.
